National Novel Writing Month WINNER 2008!

For the third straight year I have won National Novel Writing Month's challenge to pen 50,000 words in thirty days or less. I completed my task on November 28,2008, and now I have a body of work to work with!!
In the midst of all of the mayhem I submitted my manuscript, "Haiku For You" and am anxiously awaiting my next step towards publication. I'll set up a date with my design team to make sure that the manuscript is ready to be published. I will update my progress here whenever I have a free moment to spare!

Borders Express Book Signing Photos from November 22, 2008

A Successful Book Signing at Borders Express in Livonia

My book signing went well on Saturday. I met a lot of neat individuals, some of whom purchased my books. It really is fun to sell copies of both books. I like having the ability to do that as people are able to have a choice in what they want to purchase from me. One gentleman purchased two copies of "Woman Reclining" to give as gifts. Another, purchased a copy of "Woman Reclining" and, "Cheryl's Musings: A Day In The Life Of An Award Winning Poet & Photographer". He's going to take my books to Michigan's State Capitol so visitors and others can read my work there and perhaps purchase future copies of my books for their own entertainment.
Even though I was only booked to be there for two hours I stayed nearly three as there were a lot of people inside of the mall. It was nice to see that people are out and about and are shopping!
