Too Long Between Posts

Even though it has been a few months since my last post, I am here to tell you that my book signing at the Plymouth Library went well.  I met some new authors, new customers and saw some old friends.  One can never understimate the power of friends coming to visit an author event.  Even though I have been doing these type of events, I also enjoy solo book signings.  With the demise of Borders, the opportunity to do multiple book signings in that format just isn't possible.  We need for there to be another Borders book chain or some sort of store to rise up from the ashes and stick around through eternity as authors need a platform to sell books and meet with perspective book buyers.
For me, it doesn't completely matter, as I always find events to sell my work, and have done the events that I want at this point.  I'm not sure if I will have an official event set up through the end of the year as other items have become a priority.  Sometimes writers and authors have to take a detour when it comes to book signing tours to address other items, and of course to continue producing material to read and publish.

My latest project is titled, "Notes From the Past," and is in a mini-book format presently.  I see a mini series with this type of work too.
